Emily Fischel, Principal
Emily Fischel
A veteran sales & marketing professional in the real estate & renovation industry, Emily has helped homeowners design and customize their homes for many years. She has leased and sold residential and commercial properties, overseen an assortment of commercial fit-outs, and for many years was a Sales & Marketing consultant for local custom home builders.
Previously, both as an employee and consultant, Emily’s talents have extended to company branding, advertising, management of and design of web presence and on-line promotion, copywriting, public relations, vendor management, Broker/realtor relations, contract negotiations and company budgeting, and property management.
She has hired and trained sales staffs and has successfully implemented CRM programs such as Builder 1440 and Top Builder Solutions.
She is a NAHB Certified Sales Professional, and a Licensed Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson at RealtyMark Nexus. She holds an M.B.A. in marketing and B.S. in tourism and business from Arizona State University.
Since 2012, after starting Open Door Cabinetry & Design, Emily has been measuring, designing, ordering, managing and supervising the many cabinet jobs that have arrived on her desk. She specializes in organization for your particular lifestyle. Anyone can sell cabinets, she always says, but are they tailored for you? Your family? Your lifestyle? Stock to custom, they can always be designed and made just for you!

Craig Collins, Project Manager
Creative, talented, passionate – and very budget-conscious – Craig Collins is a designer / project manager at Open Door.
Craig brings with him 25 years experience in the kitchen and bath industry, as a designer, project manager and sales manager for clients large and small. Formerly a staffer at Kitchens by Design and Morris Black, he really is one of the best in the business.
A family man in the Lehigh Valley, he’s active as a Cub Scout den leader and as a coach for a variety of youth sports teams. His favorite phrase is “form follows function” - and that’s how he designs.
We’re lucky to have landed him, and excited to have him on board!
Nancy Berger, Marketing Consultant
Nancy brings over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, communications and management in industries as diverse as public transportation to newspaper publishing to real estate. Tech-savvy and detail-oriented, she is an accomplished wordsmith and strategic partner.
She has been a travel agent, a manufacturer’s rep, an ad agency account executive, a publicist, an editor, a sales manager, and a marketing communications manager.
A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University, she has also been an officer and board member for a variety of arts and health-related non-profits.
